This is a platform to share information that may slip under your radar, it will offer different prospectives. About Me

I am a health advisor, Reiki practitioner and immensely pleased to add Sophrologist. Sophrology has become an integral and commanding aspect of my life ad encapsulates my goals as an educator and advocate for health and wellness. I have several decades of experience as an RN. I completed my graduate degree and became a Clinical Nurse specialist. Since then, I participated in the early days of a successful protocol for a study that became the prototype for treatment at a prestigious Academic Institution. I served as an Appeal advocate for a large Medical Insurance company. I am a Kundalini Yoga practitioner and integrate all into every day living.

Sophrology

My name is Jacemine Limprevil I am a Sophrologist.  Sophrology found me in a bistro in the heart of Milan.  At the Hotel, I told my best friend that I found my life mission, and need information. Few years later, thru a collision, I attended several Sophrology sessions, at the same time; I found the ultimate school to study Sophrology.

 Sophrology is the study of Consciousness in harmony. Sophrology is a structured method created to produce optimal and wellbeing. It consists of a series of easy to do physical and mental exercises that when practiced regularly, lead to a healthy, relaxed body and a calm, alert mind. The exercises are called dynamic relaxation (relaxation in movement).

A sophrology session begins with a body scan in what I consider to be an engagement method of preparation; it permits the person to notice the sensations in each part of the body.  It calms the mind and brings it into the present. This allows the body to transition to a different phase identified as the Sophroliminal level. This is the absolute moment when your mind and body meet, and you become relaxed enough to experience Sophrology. The sophrologist guides you thru the exercise, without implication. Your experience is your own, additionally; you may practice the same exercise, and comes up with different sensation/response each time. The exercise ends with the basic desophronisation; this brings the person to an awaken level of consciousness.

One major distinction of Sophrology with other Mindfulness activity is the Sophro pheno description. At the end of each session, one is encouraged to record the experience, and can even share it 

A great exercise can be simply breathing.  It is a simple exercise that allows you to become more aware of your body. To allow energy to follow thought. To become aware of your breathing, and if you are holding stress in your body, to release and relax the tension away through simple breathing. This exercise helps you realize the power you have within you to re-experience things as if for the first time.  You learn how words, images and sensations stay with you. It also reminds us all too fully experience simple moments in the future.  We don't always allow ourselves time to enjoy the simple things in life. Next time you see a beautiful flower, really look at it, from each angle, smell its scent, or if it is a beautiful sunset, experience it fully. While doing this, notice how your body feels by allowing it to enjoy this beautiful moment. 

When reinforcing these positive experiences we fire neurons in the brain that create new avenues to positive awareness.

The benefits of Sophrology ranged from improved concentration, increased self-confidence, feeling of inner happiness. Sophrology is widely used in business, high level sport, the medical profession (especially for childbirth) schools and Universities.  


Reiki

I am a Reiki Master Practitioner. I have been involved in Reiki for a number of years starting the early 1990’s. I have my foundation in the medical world, but I am curious and seek out new experiences that enrich my soul experience.  I follow the path to become more centered and create more calm in my life, and that led me to many different avenues including Therapeutic touch along with Reiki.  I practiced for years on personal level, with friends, and friends of friends.  In graduate school, instead of writing a research paper, I chose to demonstrate a Reiki session with a live audience made of my peers.  I was nervous at first, then my confidence grew, eventually, it went well.  I realized then how much of a daring endeavor I undertook, it resonates with me.  The chosen student had to give a description of her experience, and then many others approach me so they can have their own experience.

I wane on and off; I reserve Reiki as a special gift I gave to those who share their pain, despair, loneliness, and sadness with me.   Few years ago, I came back to Reiki, the fire lit, and never left.  I perform daily session with myself, I provide sessions on an as needed basis for healing, grief, just for exchange which is the essence of Reiki.  A relaxation technique that supports the body natural ability to balance itself and to experience a sense of well-being.  It is simple, gentle and safe technique. It is a very specific form of energy healing, in which hands are placed off the body.    

Reiki can reduce stress, relieve pain, balance emotions, and facilitate personal healing and spiritual growth.  Reiki addresses underlying energetic patterns to create wellness and reconnect one’s ability for self-healing. 

Reiki can be performed long distance, “as a form of prayer”.  Reiki travels thru Space; the intention can be set anywhere, and reach its destination.

Wellness Advisor

I surround myself with a network of friends who nurture me and with whom I can share much joy with.  I hinted that I have a medical background; I married the traditional world with that of true nature.  I followed a plant based diet for over the last 30 years, and counselled many.  Yes I integrated Yoni with vaginal health.  The last couple years, I’ve been immersed in Population health, and again counselled many.  I intend to take these on a broader range and offer my services to ALL
